Milwaukee Police Association Endorses Ron Johnson for U.S. Senate

OSHKOSH – The Milwaukee Police Association is endorsing Ron Johnson for reelection to the United States Senate. Johnson’s opponent, Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes, is running on a dangerous agenda to defund the police, half the prison population, eliminate cash bail, and abolish ICE.

In a letter written to Sen. Johnson, Milwaukee Police Association President Andrew Wagner said, “During these increasingly trying times, the over 1,400 men and women of the Milwaukee Police Association appreciate leaders like you who are willing to stand and be an advocate for Law Enforcement Professionals.”

“I’m proud to stand with the brave men and women of law enforcement throughout Wisconsin,” said Sen. Johnson in a statement. “Extreme policies from the Left like defunding the police and ending cash bail are putting Wisconsinites at risk. I will always fight to support the officers working to keep our neighborhoods safe.”
