Sen. Ron Johnson and NRSC Release Ad on Open Borders and Drug Overdoses

OSHKOSH  – U.S. Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) and the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) jointly released a new ad today on the increase of deadly drugs into our communities from the open borders. The ad is part of a seven-figure statewide television and digital ad buy with the NRSC.

The ad explains how Biden’s open borders are creating a surge in drug overdoses in America, while drug traffickers are adding fentanyl to counterfeit pills.

“Joe Biden opened America’s borders, increasing the flow of deadly drugs into our communities. Last year, over 105,000 people died of drug overdoses in America. Biden’s putting our children and families at risk,” the ad says. “Ron Johnson is warning everyone that drug traffickers are adding fentanyl to counterfeit pills. And it only takes one pill to kill. Please tell your children and support law enforcement.”

“Joe Biden and the Democrats’ open borders and amnesty agenda created an ongoing crisis at our border. It’s not just impacting communities along the border; it’s hurting communities across the country with the massive influx of opioids and other illegal drugs. Ron Johnson is fighting back against Joe Biden’s disastrous border policies and the NRSC is proud to help him get the message out that it only takes one pill to kill.” – NRSC Chairman Rick Scott
