Wisconsin Workers and Small Businesses Have an Easier Tax Day Thanks to Ron Johnson

OSHKOSH  – The Ron Johnson for Senate campaign issued the following statement on Tax Day:

“Workers and businesses all across Wisconsin have an easier Tax Day thanks to Ron Johnson. In 2017, despite heavy opposition, Senator Johnson fought hard to make sure small businesses weren’t left behind under the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. Thanks to him, mom and pop storefronts remained competitive against large corporations and had the capital to grow their businesses, create jobs, and help survive the pandemic.

Such relief is sorely needed. Wisconsinites are suffering from the Democrats’ inflation tax, especially middle-income workers and seniors, and Democrats want to repeal the tax relief Senator Johnson secured and raise taxes even further to pay for their extreme agenda. Wisconsin voters deserve a senator like Ron who will fight for them instead of a Democrat who will fight for radical, harmful policies.” — Jake Wilkins, Ron Johnson for Senate campaign spokesperson.
