Ron Johnson launched his statewide Manufacturers for RonJon today at TEAM Industries, Inc. in Kaukauna, where he met with members of the statewide coalition and discussed the challenges facing manufacturers. The coalition has more than 100 members statewide and 12 members on the leadership team who will advise Ron on manufacturing issues and help mobilize voters to further strengthen the best-in-the-nation ground game built by Wisconsin Republicans.
Ron Johnson said: “As a manufacturer from Oshkosh, I know how important manufacturing is to Wisconsin’s economy, and the challenges these companies face. Our manufacturers coalition further strengthens our world-class ground game, and they will recruit more Wisconsinites who are ready to get Washington out of the way so we can encourage good jobs and economic growth. I look forward to working with them to make Wisconsin stronger by exporting our products – not our jobs.”
Kurt Bauer, President and CEO for Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce, said: “We’re fortunate to have Ron Johnson as one of the nation’s few manufacturers, not only in the U.S. Senate but in the entire Congress. Ron knows how to create and retain family-supporting jobs because he’s done it as a successful manufacturer. His common sense approach to spending, regulation and tax reform serve as an important voice for Wisconsin families.”
