This week, Ron made one thing clear — healing Wisconsin communities and getting Washington out of the way of good Wisconsin jobs will help solve some of our biggest challenges.

• Ron was in Milwaukee on Monday after the violent weekend and said that, “This is about healing our communities, healing our state, healing our nation.”

• He was there for another class with the Joseph Project — a program he and Pastor Smith are working on to help folks in Milwaukee find good jobs.

• The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported about the project saying, “A little over a mile from the site of Saturday night’s riots in Milwaukee, a small church that once was a tavern now is home to one of the more improbable efforts to lift the economic fortunes of some of the city’s poorest black residents.”
