#RonOnTheRoad: Holiday Cheer

We hope you had a great Christmas — and enjoyed spending time with your family after Wisconsin’s first big snowfall! Ron spent his time with family, but also had the chance to spread holiday cheer and take his message across the state.

As the holidays approached, Ron worked with the Republican Party of Wisconsin and grassroots supporters in the Wausau, Milwaukee, and Madison areas to give back to the finest among us and spread a little holiday joy by making care packages and writing letters to the troops. As Ron said, “Peace on Earth, goodwill toward men. Isn’t that something we can all hold in our hearts?”

Ron’s Christmas cookies are famous in the Johnson family, but these cookies don’t make themselves. Check out this behind-the-scenes look at Ron’s holiday tradition of baking Christmas tree roll out cookies for family festivities.

Like many other Wisconsin families, Ron and Jane sent out a card for Christmas and the holiday season. This year, they got a little help from their adorable grandchildren Archer and Marit. In fact, the card was so adorable, it was rated a “favorite” by the New York Times.

As 2015 comes to a close, we want to thank everyone for their support of Ron over the past year. #TeamRonJon would not be the same without you. We also look forward to the importance of electing conservative leadership in 2016 and seeing all of you out with #RonOnTheRoad.

Happy New Year!
