#RonOnTheRoad: Manufacturing Month & Oktoberfest

October doesn’t just mean the start of fall — it also means it’s Manufacturing Month! Ron knows what it takes to create good Wisconsin jobs because he did it himself, starting his own manufacturing company in Oshkosh in 1979.

That’s why Ron is fighting to get Washington out of the way of private sector job creation – and why he’s spending the month ahead visiting companies providing good jobs in Wisconsin. On Friday alone he was at Madison-Kipp Corp. in Madison, TLX Technologies and Acieta LLC Industrial Robotics Automation Co. in Pewaukee, and Miro Tool & Manufacturing in Waukesha.

On Friday evening, Ron headed to Pints and Politics with the Waukesha County GOP at the Boneyard Pub and Grille in Sussex where he chatted with folks and took questions from the crowd. It was great to see so many old friends and new faces come out on a Friday evening — and many thanks to the Waukesha County GOP for putting on such a great event.

On Saturday, Ron made his way to Oktoberfest in Sheboygan, where he helped tap the keg and spent time talking with local festival-goers. I think Ron said it best: “We are great people. We love beer. There is nothing partisan about that. God bless Wisconsin, God bless America. Now let’s tap into this thing.”
