The first weekend of fall was beautiful, and Ron took advantage – traveling all across the state and making stops in Eau Claire, Appleton and Burlington.
Check out these highlights from the first fall edition of #RonOnTheRoad:
Ron started his fall travels on Friday, visiting with about 40 grassroots volunteers at the Republican Party of Wisconsin field office in Eau Claire. Some College Republicans from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire even stopped by.
On Saturday, Ron started in downtown Appleton for the city’s annual Octoberfest. It was a great day to talk to folks about the issues important to them, grab some donuts from the Lil Orbit Mini Donut Stand and catch up with Appleton Mayor Tim Hanna.
The last stop of the day was the 1st Congressional District’s Annual Fall Fest in Burlington, with dozens of grassroots supporters ready to get to work. Ron joined U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan, Republican Party of Wisconsin Executive Director Mike Duffey and Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus in talking to the crowd about the importance of electing independent conservative leadership in 2016.
Mike and Reince discussed the superior ground game Republicans have in the state and how they plan to work together to translate that into Republican success in 2016.
As always, thanks for all you do – and remember to follow #RonOnTheRoad on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram!
