U.S. Senator Ron Johnson watched the first debate in the 2016 presidential election in Polk County Thursday evening at the home of supporters in Amery.
The debate watching party was the first in a series of events Ron is attending the next several days where he’ll listen to Wisconsinites and discuss the importance of electing conservative, independent leaders in 2016.
Alan Walker, chairman of the Polk County Republican Party, said:
“Senator Ron Johnson joined our GOP Debate House Party of 35 friends and neighbors and shared his thoughts on moving conservative values and principles forward in the United States Senate. Ron is a strong voice for common sense solutions and doing what is morally right for individuals and to keep our freedoms.”
The debate watching party was in the home of Alan and Elise Walker, and you can find photos here and here.
