I wouldn’t be a United States Senator today without the grassroots infrastructure that the Republican Party built back in 2010. After announcing my candidacy just six months before the election in November, I was able to tap into the resources and network that the state party put in place. With your help, we were able to take down the ultra-liberal Russ Feingold.
I saw first-hand how important that grassroots infrastructure was to our success in 2010 – and I’m seeing how crucial it will be again to our success in 2014 and beyond. That’s why I’m encouraging you to sign up to be a Community Captain with the Republican Party of Wisconsin.
The Community Captains Program is a dynamic community-based program, the first of its kind in our Party’s history. With a goal of sustaining a long-term, permanent presence in every part of the state, we will build the grassroots infrastructure needed for a modern campaign.
As a Community Captain, you will be provided with the tools and resources to be active in your area. This is about getting back to basics and building a statewide network of activists – while utilizing state of the art technology to optimize our efforts. As I often say, it’s about becoming “force multipliers” for good.
This program is essential to reelecting Scott Walker and maintaining our Republican majorities in 2014, but it’s also critical for future elections – including my reelection in 2016.
Thanks for your help!
